Beebombs - Job offered
I'm looking for some help to make and distribute our native wildflower seedballs at our unit in Bournemouth, Dorset.
The job is to help me make, market, pick, pack and prepare our wildflower seedballs. It's difficult to give the job a specific name as it'll be varied and like any small business, you'll need to be adaptable and help where required. The environment is relaxed though, you'll be helping restore some of Britain's lost wildflower habitat and it should be fun.
We are based near to Bournemouth airport, in a unit at Parley Golf Centre. It's very peaceful here with pigs, alpacas, horses etc all around. Easy parking, a cafe and beautiful river walks for your break.
At the moment I'm looking for someone who can do Wednesdays and Thursdays, with some extra hours available at the weekend, if you want to do them. You can come in and leave at whatever time suits. Ideally 9.30 - 3 or 4 or whatever is possible to fit into your lifestyle.
The job would probably suit someone who is in a creative profession and just needs to top up their income.
There will be opportunities to attend festivals through the summer and learn many new skills. You'll be working closely with me and sometimes alone.
I make the seedballs with clay, soil and seeds, so the job can be a bit messy. It also gets warm in the unit as the seedballs are drying. It's not in anyway dangerous or heavy work though.
It's fine if the job is a temporary solution for you, or equally if all goes well and you would like to do it for the longer term. Other hours will probably come available as the business grows.
I'm looking for someone that is relaxed, self motivated, positive, open minded and that has a passion for life and our world.
£10 per hour - Applicants need to be self-employed and provide a weekly invoice for their services. You will be paid weekly into a bank account.
